Terrorist Operations

and end the attack.

The passengers on Flight 93, last September, recognized that they had to act if there was to be any hope of survival. Though they did not succeed in overpowering the hijackers soon enough to save the aircraft, they did prevent the intended attack from being completed. Flight 93 became a failure for the terrorists, and a rallying point for us, the intended victims.

Terrorists have the advantage of planning their attacks at the point and with the method of their choosing. Though there is no way to prevent ALL attacks, it is possible to prevent or counter most attacks.

The only way to prevent even more is to go over to the offensive. Many terrorists have been in the business for decades and are well known to intelligence operators. Many have already been identified or even convicted of committing crimes, but are still running free for one reason or another.

We know what these people are capable of. Are we capable of truly defending ourselves?
