This is a book review of "Finding Meridian," which is the third book in the series titled "W.I.T.C.H." adapted by Elizabeth Lenhard. Just like the other books in the series, I enjoyed reading this one. If you enjoy reading fantasy/mystery books that also have a spiritual meaning, you will enjoy reading this series of books. The books are basically about good and evil and the spiritual battle in life.

The five girls: Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia, and Hay Lin set out to solve their next adventure. They are the Guardians of the Veil. That means they are good people and fight against evil. In this adventure, they begin searching for Elyon., who is a friend of theirs. She disappeared right through the wall of the room where they were gathered. When they see Elyon disappear, they wondered what had happened and where she was. Throughout the book, they search for Elyon.

Besides trying to find Elyon, they come face to face with an evil monster. They couldn't believe their eyes when they saw someone turn into a monster. They thought the person was a friend of theirs because she seemed so nice and willing to help them with their problems. However, that was a disguise. Now the girls aren't sure who is good and who is evil. They have to be cautious and watch for any signs of evil people. They are to fight against the evil people.

They also are trying to find the right portal that leads to the city of Meridian, which is located in Metamoor. Metamoor is the evil place where the monsters dwell. The girls need to destroy the evil monsters who are there. In the search for the city of Meridian, they finally locate Elyon. They were excited about seeing Elyon, but something happens during their time together. The five girls use their magic and fight against the evil monsters. Their magic works, but what happens with Elyon? Is Elyon evil or good now. Does Elyon turn against them? Do the five girls overcome the evil monsters? Does something happen to any of the girls? You will have to read the book to find out what happens.

Suspense continues to build throughout the story. Once I started reading it, I had a difficult time putting it down. I wanted to keep reading it to find out what was going to happen to the girls and if they were going to find Elyon or come up against any other friends who turn out to be monsters.
