Honing Your Research Skills


A large part of our genealogical time on the Internet is used for searching databases. Genealogy is, also, about learning research stategies. Sometimes, we are blocked or derailed in our efforts to trace our families because we are missing a key research strategy.

This week, I have compiled a list of links that are exceptional in helping us learn more about these strategies. Many of us know the basics of genealogy. So, I have left out beginner's sites. What is included are those that help us find help in some specific area research.

So if you are up against a brick wall, or have been avoiding some area of genealogical research because you are unsure of the steps, spend some time researching strategy at these sites. I have chosen these sites for the depth if their links and easy navigation in finding what you need.
