Thanks to the generous efforts of many volunteers, census information is becoming available on the Internet. Not all of the counties and the years are available, but the data is increasing daily. Many of these sites are looking for volunteers with the time and the expertise. Here's your chance to add to the genealogical community.
USGenWeb also has links to census records on line. Enter their site at Census Project Home Page. They, too, welcome volunteers. Crooked Tree has an ambitious project of providing you with links to all the state census information online at their On Line Census Data page. You can help them by letting them know of any links you run across that they do not have listed. Yet another site is one of Christine's Genealogy Websites Censuslinks on the Internet. Scroll down Cyndi's List-U.S.-Census to U.S. Census & Records, to find another list of census information online. Here's hoping that you may find something you need at one of these sites.
