Season of LoveThe idea here is not to avoid the holiday parties, greeting cards, shopping, or donations. Rather, I'm suggesting that to live up to the ideal of living a life of love, to achieve the loving friendships and families that ads seduce us with, we need to slow down and put people rather than money and the ubiquitous ticking of the clock first. As the season progresses, I'd like to challenge you to take some time to be really present with the people you are with, to really listen to them when they talk to you, and give your time as well as your money.
