Make Fall Mumalicious!
If you need yet another reason to grow mums, there's nothing like seeing them in full bloom. You'll find lots of stunning examples at any nursery or plant-selling outlet right now. And many mum societies are holding shows now that it's mum season. For instance, the Point Grey Chrysanthemum Association is holding its annual show November 3 and November 4 at the Mandeville Garden Centre in Burnaby, a great opportunity to see some truly spectacular examples of mums grown for exhibition. You may also be interested in contacting the White Rock & District Chrysanthemum Society.
I might pick up another mum or two, myself. Mums do such a great job of colouring the fall garden, that there's always room for one more! Why not make your garden mumalicious and enjoy beautiful blooms through November?
