Environment and the Garden

keep lining their pockets with money, they could care less. They can buy bottled water just like the next guy. At least until there is no more clean water and then they may have to rethink their water polluting ways.

One problem with getting rid of chemical companies is the loss of jobs for those who work for them. But let's say that these companies begin manufacturing organic products instead, those people would still have jobs and even more jobs would be created in order to plant, grow, and harvest the plants that make those organic chemicals. Don't you think that in today's environmentally aware population that some of us would buy their organic products?? Sure we would! Not only would organic products make our people healthier, but the soil would be healthier as well. And that to me is a double bonus!

Sure, chemicals are needed to make many of our medicines, plastics, pesticides, fertilizers, metals, etc. But this is because we are a spoiled nation that has a high level of lacking self-sufficiency skills.
