Imported Cabbage Worm
I did this throughout the fall and again in spring when soil wasn't frozen. I found tons of grubs and cutworm larvae. Unfortunately, I did not get all of them and lost a few beans of my few that I had planted. I sprayed Bt from a hose end sprayer over my whole yard and haven't lost a bean again. But now I've got aphids and something is stunting the beans instead of killing them.
