While Bacchic themes were common in Roman gardens, the garden at the House of Venus Marina is the only one that I know of which is devoted to Venus, and this is really just because of the large fresco. I don't know the reason for this; statuettes and paintings of Venus were more common in Pompeian homes and gardens than images of any other deity. I can't imagine that the Pompeians saw a Bacchic theme as less indecent than a garden devoted to Venus.
