Bleeding Heart Vine
spots for a colony of Blue Herons. When a Bald Eagle came over to investigate potential pickings, the colony erupted in a cacophony of screeching as the eagle circled lazily overhead. Not until the eagle had left did tranquility once more return. I was too amazed at the scene to reach for my camera until it was too late. The memory still remains.
