Review: Top Gear GT Championship
Sound The sound in Top Gear GT is average. A nifty intro song is included with the movie, and expect the typical car engine noises as you drive, nothing more. The only other thing to take not of is the annoying confirmation beep every time you select a menu, that really gets on the nerves. Replayability This is a racing game, and there is plenty to do. The career mode does take some time to beat, if you can put up with the game for that long. The further you get through career mode, the more cars and tracks you will unlock, as well as track-editing road pieces. There is also a multi-player function, which requires two cartridges, which can keep your car running for a bit longer. Otherwise, you'll either toss it a couple days after you get it, or once you beat career mode. Final Words If you like any type of racing games, this might be in your favor just for the sake of owning it. Otherwise, sloppy controls, unrealistic car actions and repetitiveness should keep yo away from this title. Stick to Advance GT. Score: 4/10
