After my last harsh review of Shilla I decided to give the site one last shot to see if it had improved at all. I would like to say it has greatly improved, and the chat has been entirely cleaned up. That the lack of any originality in storline or purpose for your characters existence has been solved with a new storyline, and epic quests for your character.
I would like to say this, but sadly, it would be false. The chat is, if anything, worse. Attempts at blocking certain words have been completely thwarted by the players. The chat in there has devolved beyond simple juvenilistic cursing to some trully foul comments. the latest one involved the murder and feasting on babies. A quick note to one of the game admin proved that this was not a situation that would be improved any time soon. As for the storyline and character involvement with his/her world, these things simply do not exist. There is no storyline. Not even the weakest of ones. There is no particular reason for your character to hit the adventure trail, beyond simple murder and thievery. A hack and slash game at it's worst. The best thing that can be said for this game is that the monster images are ok. They should be. they belong to Might and Magic.
