Monarchy Review Part II-Braggart's Hall

Braggarts Hall is a unique messageboard and online community. Part role-play, part therapy and part cat fight. The people, like a large family, fight, play, argue and ignore one another. But more than anything else it is a great gaming experience, a must see for the new player and experienced GM a like.

The following is an example of one of the role-pay threads, GMed by Little Devil, a Monarchy player from Belgium. As Monarchy is set in a holy war setting, this RP concerns his defecting as head of his own Guild to another faith entirely:

Little Devil OOC: PART 1 seeking visions This RP starts at a point in how to kidnap a COR 2, when Little Devil undergoes his ritual IC Once more the danger is averted, but for how long, still does he doubt, seek holy counsell, for what he feels, what he has seen, what he has experienced, This time he will try the greatest ritual of all, Finally Little Devil is prepared, Speaking to the high priest, "I'm Ready Priest, begin the ritual, i must know" Taking out the Holy sword of Barnabas, Heirdom of the Wandering wolves, Slayer of Olandar, The priest readies it before him, Little Devil put's his hands out, for the ritual prepared for what has to come, With a swift slash, The High Priest open's both hands, And blood begin to flow, Blood falling on the holy sword, Blood dripping on the holy Shrine, Concentrating, focussing on the sword, on barnabas, Little Devil sends out his plea, Let me know the truth my god, Am i right or am i wrong, Your servant is lost, What must i do, Little Devil finds himself floating in empty space, Alone in the emptyness, Calling out, receiving no answerr, He understands, he's on the middle plane, The plane of existence between that of the mortals, And that of the gods, Calling out for help, for Advice, for Answerrs, Little Devil feels something nearing, Something powerfull, powerfull as no mortal can be, Feeling visions come to him, At last he sees, he receives what he asked,

Little Devil OOC : Part II Visions the beginning. His first vision comes He sees, Darkness over the world, Getting larger and larger, He sees four color's, one yellow, one blue, one red, and one long forgotten, representing each god, he sees one collor waning, and disappearing, then he sees the other collors touching each other, some becoming less, others more, Red seems to grow, but as it grows it becomes dark, first happy to see red grow, but then seeing it turning dark, Little Devil fears now, more then ever,
