Your time is equally as valuable as your money! Imagine if you were actually paid for everything you did (not that it'll ever happen, but it makes an interesting point!).
I spend VERY little time doing laundry, approximately four hours a week spread out over several days when it is convenient for me to wash and dry loads inbetween other tasks. If I had to work for four hours one night doing nothing but laundry, I would consider that a waste of my time. I multi-task constantly, even when I am online. I write notes to myself about everything I want to do so that if I see something that will help me to accomplish those goals, I can grab it. Granted, I feel that my life is more full than the average person and I would probably live longer if I were to streamline things. In the process of downsizing our home and possessions, I find that my task of housekeeping is much less daunting than before for the simple fact that there is much less clutter. I had thought about working a second job, however it is very impractical for me to run around probably earning minimum wage when there are things I can do from home, fitting them into my schedule when it best suits my needs. What is stealing your time? If you had more time, what goals would you be meeting that you currently see as impossible? Nothing is out of your reach with scheduling and planning. I plan to write a book someday, however at this particular point in my life, I do not have a regular schedule that I can appoint hours to writing. I do keep a journal of story lines, plot development and more! By feeding my dreams, and keeping them alive with planning, I am one step closer to meeting my goals and earning a living doing what I want to do, rather than what I have to do to survive. Supporting your family doing what you love is the true meaning of success in my humble opinion!
