Spring Cleaning the Unhappy Frugal

If I could sum up my entire life's lesson from all of the highs and lows, it would be to fall in love with your life as it is, not as it would play out in your imagination. You don't have to love the times that the infant wakes up screaming, who wakes up the toddler, who makes the dog bark, but you should love SOMETHING about your life. You don't need a third party to fall in love, you only need the day you have been given, and your life with you as the Star Performer !

Keeping these things in mind, begin today (or start tomorrow!) to look at the world around you as a reflection of you. Take notes as you think of things that you can afford to change . I have provided some links to places that have inexpensive ideas for decorating your home. This is the only life you have and it's never to late to mold it into what you always dreamed it could be.

Aside from the very practical resources I can provide you, I would like to leave you with one more thought. It's okay to have those moments where you just want to stand on the roof and scream, "All I really want is ONE pair of pantyhose without a runner or a hole, is that too much to ask?" You are not alone. You are not insane. I believe every woman has moments where as the official Home-Maker, the demands of life become incredibly overwhelming and unbearable. These moments come to pass, not to roost. Life will have ups and downs and if you are lucky you will have a good friend to share them with.

When I am old I may wear purple or I may not, but I know that I will have lived to be the vey best person I can be and my hope is that you will too !
