Sometimes free just isn't enough.
Every now and then I hear from people who have seen references around to earning money from surfing the Internet... what do I think / know / recommend? These questions have always bothered me because I just haven't gathered enough information to be able to give a good answer. These "offers" aren't my thing because the little I've learned tells me you have to work really hard at it to earn meaningful sums, and I'm quite busy enough thank you. In addition, the secret seems to lie in recruiting other people which, in my book, starts to sound very like multi-level marketing. I subscribe absolutely to the belief that if something sounds to good to be true... I also spend enough time surfing to see for myself that the Internet is very definitely becoming the IN place for scams and the like. What this all amounts to is that you first need to acquire the knowledge / personal experience / wisdom before you can dispense it. Me, I pass folks. Thankfully I now have the easy answer... go consult an expert, and you don't have to go very far. One of my newest colleagues here at the Suite really knows her stuff. Kimberly (Kimmie) Brown : Editor of Earning Money Online I'll carry on helping you all save money... if you're interested in earning it, go pay Kimmie a visit. Back to my favourite topic... utility programs. Here's the latest little goodie I've started using. FileBox eXtender : Hyperionics. The home page gives a very clear description of the purpose and the function of the program together with lots of screenshots. "FileBox eXtender (FileBX or FbX) is a program that extends the standard Windows File|Open and File|Save dialog boxes by adding handy little icon buttons on the right side of the title bars, next to the minimize, restore and maximize buttons". You will notice that strictly speaking this is a shareware program and if it remains unlicenced you're only able to set up two favourites folders. I interpret this as being a "light" version and it does me nicely. I have two folders set up on my hard drive that I access more than any other. One named "Down" into which all my downloads are directed and another called "Dtemp" that I use to receive unzipped files until I decide where they go from there. This program gives a nice neat shortcut to both. If by chance you want to try out the program with an unrestricted number of folders you can apply for a free seven day temporary license on the home page. Go To Page: 1 2
