Tricky Freeware Treats!

I love Halloween because it's the only time of year when the appearance of the Disaster Area I call my computer desk is fashionable. Dee refers to it as Ground Zero. It's the one time when the cobwebs and other signs of neglect ( to say nothing of the spiders busily moving indoors for the winter) add just the right touch. Forgotten temporarily are the reminders that keeping the system neat and tidy applies to the outside as well!

So just to join in the fun here's a few things that you might like to try. Needless to say, my graphic-mad wife had a hand in this article! You'll probably have as much fun waving your cursor all over the page to find her links and who knows where they'll lead you...not me! She tells me even the poem takes you somewhere!
Hopefully they will help you. Your kids and your computer enjoy the party. Afterwards just pack them away until next year and then maybe, like me, revert to old technology, and dig out the feather duster.

Halloween Pack with WebPainter: Totally Hip Software Inc.
Halloween Pack is a free collection of Halloween-themed animated GIFs from Totally Hip Software. Also included is WebPainter SE, their award-winning cel-based animation product. If you're looking for some spooky Halloween characters to celebrate the holiday on your Web site, this is the plug-and-play solution for you. Dancing jack-o'-lanterns and other ghoulish items can be easily added to your site to give it that scary flair.
Here's the download page.

Kid's Pumpkin Puzzles: K&T Kids Games
Kid's Pumpkin Puzzles is a freeware Halloween jigsaw puzzle game for kids. Put together the pumpkin, but make sure his face matches, or the ghoulies might get you. Full of music, sounds, and animation to put you in the Halloween spirit with four different faces.
You'll find them here.

Be sure to check out all the other goodies on the Suite 101 Halloween page.

I have absolutely no idea about next week...yet! See you then.
