The lab researcher is very important to jury consulting. The knowledge about authoritarian and moral reasoners was
discovered there (I in fact do laboratory research on principle moral reasoning). Without these individuals the jury consultant would have a greatly limited bag of tricks.
So remember if your ever going to a jury you may want to consider a jury consultant 8) ... They can possibly turn the tables in your directions. Not that any of my readers would ever be in that position!
