June recreations show the The Court of George II, (15 to 16 June - Marble Hill House, London); and the medieval Court of Edward I, (29 to 30 June - Carlisle Castle, Cumbria).

Bramham Horse Trials
DATE: 6 - 9 June, 2002.
VENUE: Bramham Park, Wetherby, West Yorkshire WHAT IT IS: An important marker on the equestrian calendar
(see the Windsor Horse Trials, May) that qualifies successful
riders for the season's final at Burghley in September. The
trials test dressage (a horse and rider's ability to work together),
a steeplechase race, a cross-country obstacle course, and
show-jumping. You will also see Britain's top show-jumpers
and their horses competing for large cash prizes.
