London Right NowSales Fever There are good bargains to be found this year that may even bring me reluctantly out from cover. Fortnum & Mason of Piccadilly are offering 50% reduction on some cookware, china, men's and children's wear. John Lewis of Oxford Street with Peter Jones of Sloane Square, (branches thoughout England), offer up to 50% off some bath linen, furniture and soft furnishings, cookware, china and glass. They are also offering a good selection of quality 'seconds' and special purchase items. Bond Street fashion shops, such as Chanel at 26 Old Bond Street, are enticing the ladies with up to 50% discounts on accessories. In New Bond Street Calvin Klein and Emporio Armani are slashing three figure numbers off selected men's suits and ladies' coats. Burberry commence their sale on 2 January at No.21 New Bond Street and nationwide with 50% discounts on selected items. Harrods commence their famous Sale on 2 January with discounts of up to 50% and further discounts to account holders on Saturdays through January.
