British Airways cut UK/Europe seat prices
On 12 October British Airways announced far reaching budget travel offers on their UK and European routes. Flights from London/Heathrow and London/Gatwick are now offered for as little as £69 inclusive of all ancillaries plus a free seat for a child travelling with an adult. UK destinations offered for a child travelling with an adult. UK destinations offered are: Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Guernsey, Jersey, Manchester and Newcastle. A wide range of European destinations offered includes Barcelona, Berlin, Madrid, Paris and Stockholm.

Autumn Break Hotel Bargains

A variety of interesting rural and city Autumn break bargains are advertised by Heritage Hotels, and Macdonald Hotels. £50 per head for Dinner, bed and breakfast at quality hotels with sometimes a free bottle of wine are offered at resorts like Ascot, Bath, Canterbury, Dartmouth, Marlow, Oxford, Stratford-on-Avon, Winchester and Windsor. London Hotel Bargains
London visitors can expect bargain offers from hotels desperate for their custom. Some top hotels and hotel chains normally offer up to 30% discounts during this off-peak season leading up to the winter holiday and New Year. This year they are slashing prices by up to 70%. A trawl through the webpages of www.laterooms.com or www.lastminute.com will net you a variety of such bargains at the cream of London's prestige 4 and 5 star hotels between now and mid December and from January onwards.

The Savoy Group of 5 star London hotels, which includes Claridges and The Connaught in Mayfair, and The Savoy in the Strand overlooking the Thames, have a series of sybaritic special package offers and Autumn bargains. These can begin with a car to collect, (and deliver) you at London/Heathrow Airport, continue with a bottle of Champagne on ice in your hotel suite and end with a candlelit dinner for two and best seats at the theatre of your choice.
