that she would sit and cry after my classes (which are about Managing Diversity and the like that promotes inclusive attitudes towards differences relating to culture, disability, religion, skin colour, sexual preferences and so on) telling of the things she was forced to endure on a daily basis. It would break your heart.

I would argue that people like my student, and the families of those injured and killed in such terrorist acts as we have seen in London are also victims, as is the concept of a peaceable, inclusive human society.
