What it is: An important marker on the equestrian calendar that qualifies successful
riders for the season's final at Burghley in September. The
trials test dressage (a horse and rider's ability to work together),
a steeplechase race, a cross-country obstacle course, and
show-jumping. You will also see Britain's top show-jumpers
and their horses competing for large cash prizes.
