The Palace is open to the public daily from late March-late October; 9.30am-6pm (Mondays, from 10.15am); winter times: from 9.30am-4.30pm (Mondays, from 10.15am). The last admission is 45 minutes before closing. The Palace is closed December 24 - 26. The gardens are open throughout the year from 7am to dusk. Tickets: Telephone hotline at 0870 753 7777 or book online Concessions for Senior Citizens, students,(ID), and minors. Visitors with disabilities are well catered for. They are admitted at the standard rate but an accompanying carer is given free entry. Most of the routes within the Palace are wheelchair accessible and there is an elevator to the first floor State apartments. Manual wheelchairs are available for use within the palace. There are also single person, battery powered chairs for use by palace ticket holders in the gardens. Both are available from the West Gate, (the main entrance to the palace).
