Why Eat Organic

I don't get it. Why throw away your career on making a pointless point. Everybody knows there's pesticide residue on a lot of foods from industrial agriculture. We've known it a long time. But those of us who eat a farm organically don't do it because there's pesticide residue on our food. Even if those residues are dangerous to our health. We've got bigger fish to fry. We know industrial agriculture, with all its pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, biocides, insecticides and who-knows-whaticides, is a deep and unabiding insult to the earth. And, since we - along with our children, friends, and loved ones - are part of the earth we eat and farm organic in response to that global insult. I guess a guy like Stossel will never get it. end
