Thinking of giving gifts from the kitchen this holiday season, but don't have the time to cook or bake?
Jar Gift Tips: 1. Layer the ingredients by alternating colors and textures, creating a "Sand Art" look. Mix Recipes
After you've finished filling your jar with the ingredients, it's time to decorate the jars to add that exciting gift appeal. Use stickers or rub-ons, or paint a special design to the outside of the jar. Cut seasonal fabric into a circle, which is twice the diameter of the lid, with pinking shears, and place over the seal before tightening the lid. If you chose one-part lids, secure the fabric with a rubber band around the neck of the jar. You can also add scoops or spoons to the outside of the jar for mixing or measuring. Mixes in a jar are easy gifts that have recipients raving. Impress your family or friends with your creativity, or have a perfect gift for that hard-to-buy-for person. Have fun! Go To Page: 1
