Spring is Here!: Easter and the joys of the new season

Spring is unfolding before us and this is great news for the produce lover. Farmer's Markets around the country are dusting off their booths and setting up shop for the new year. Some of the western United States have outdoor markets open year round, but the choices become very slim during the winter months. The new season will bring oodles of fresh vegetables our way (artichokes, asparagus, fresh herbs, and strawberries top the list).

Easter falls on March 30th this year. Some of the larger food-ezines (food related electronic magazines), listed to the right, have Spring and Easter recipes posted for this month. Particularly interesting is The Kitchen Link's list of Easter and Passover Recipes. It's an entertaining list of links. Some of the more interesting ones are:
