The choices we make

As we age, however, the quality of our choices begins to improve. We know more about the world. We know more about ourselves. We hope that our choices and decisions are intelligent and better-informed. Just because we chose poorly in the past does not mean we are destined to continue to do so. Like the man in the wheelchair, you can begin to make positive choices that make your life and the lives of others better.

If you've spent the last 20 years in a job you dislike, choose to take the necessary steps to get into a field you prefer. If you regret dropping out of university years ago, choose to return and get that degree. If you've always regretted moving to the city, maybe it's time to choose the country life again. You direct your life constantly through your choices. It is never too late to make a change that will put you on a new, better path.
