The Mall at Wellington Green will open Oct. 5. The mall boasts 1.3-million square feet on two levels. It will offer 170 stores and restaurants plus five two-level department stores – Burdines, Lord and Taylor, Dillard’s, JCPenney and Nordstrom. The mall is located at the southwest corner of Forest Hill Boulevard and U.S. 441/State Road 7. Call (561) 227-1184 for more information. FLAGLER MUSEUM EXHIBIT – If you have never visited the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum in Palm Beach, you are missing an awesome tour. When it was completed in 1902, Whitehall, Flagler’s estate, was hailed by the New York Herald as “more wonderful than any palace in Europe, grander and more magnificent than any other private dwelling in the world.” Today, the house is listed on the National Historic Landmark. From Sept. 25 to Nov. 25, the museum has another reason to visit – a special exhibit, “The Remarkable Life of Col. Owen Hill Kenan.” Kenan was a physician who distinguished himself during World War I. His passion for art made him a frequent transatlantic traveler who, on one fateful trip, managed to survive the sinking of the Lusitania. The museum, off Cocoanut Row in Pam Beach, is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and noon until 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $8 for adults and $3 for children 6-12. For more information, call (561) 655-2833 or visit the museum’s Web site at www.flagler.org. GET BLOWN AWAY – The South Florida Science Museum will “blow you away” this fall.
