Miami Seaquarium recently completed a $150,000 renovation on the Top Deck Dolphin exhibit pool. The park’s main dolphin exhibit will now allow more guests to experience the underwater dolphin viewing. 52. Monkey Jungle in Miami recently completed a new 1.5-acre, naturally forested gorilla habitat, "Cameroon Jungle." Visitors can view "King," a western lowland gorilla, as he explores his new forest by pulling vines, moving felled tree logs and making a nest for resting. 53. March marks the groundbreaking of the new $46 million home of Parrot Jungle and Gardens on Watson Island in Miami. The new park will feature an Everglades exhibit, a reptile facility, children’s petting zoo, animal barn, water play areas, picnic pavilions, food court, 500-seat theater, Parrot CafĂ© and gift shops. 54. The National Hotel in Miami debuted a new piano bar in the hotel’s restored, oak-paneled Deco Lounge. The bar will feature "Old Havana Nights," a nightly, cutting-edge piano-bar experience designed to evoke the romantic nightlife of 1950’s Havana. 55. The 166-suite Ocean Point Resort & Club opened in December in Sunny Isles. The 27-story resort offers ocean views from all guest suites, a restaurant, fitness center and meeting spaces. It features a free-form pool with waterfall, two Jacuzzis, Beach Club with watersports, European Health Spa, over 12,000 square feet of meeting space and more. 56. PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens is boasting a new look and a Mobil Travel Guide Four Star Award distinction. Having undergone a multi-million dollar renovation project combined with excellent service levels, the resort has received an award-winning reputation. PGA National Resort & Spa offers a Three-Day Mini Golf School package every weekend from June through October 2001. The school is designed for all levels of players and provides an opportunity to review and reinforce the fundamentals of the game. 57. Roney Palace Resort and Spa in South Beach is in the final stages of a $25 million renovation. The hotel will feature a private beach area complete with volleyball, climbing wall, event deck and party area, and an outdoor movie theater. It will also include a tropical-landscaped pool deck, 24-hour restaurant and in-suite spa services. 58. The Shore Club in South Beach will open this spring and will feature eight bi-level private villas, a three-story penthouse with 360
