Exercise and Nutrition During Pregnancy


Exercise improves your muscle tone, strength and endurance, which is all beneficial in helping you carry your weight during pregnancy as well as preparing you for labour. Also, getting back in shape after your baby is born is a lot easier if you have maintained an exercise program during your pregnancy. You should not be exercising to lose weight at this time.

Before you get started on a pregnancy fitness program, talk to your doctor so that he/she may evaluate your fitness status in relation to your pregnancy.

Keep in mind that fit women feel better during pregnancy and don't have the blues as badly after the baby is born.
