The End Of The RoadWell maybe its not the end of the road, but I got you to look didn't I? I have been in the fire service for almost seven years now and have come to a fork in the road of my writing career. I have to make to a choice of staying here and continue writing for the suite or giving it up all together. Well, I can tell you this much; I am not giving it up. I have firefighting and rescue in my blood and it is going to stay there. As far as what to write about or what my readers would like to read about, I am still thinking. Rest assured though that my writing here for the suite is going to continue. Maybe stepping back a few paces and regrouping my thoughts is just what I need. A change never hurt anybody. I may seem to be babbling on and on about absolutely nothing, but isn't that what the suite is here for? To let online folk vent our feelings and frustrations? I sure the hell hope so!!!!!! Well back to the subject at hand. All the above situations and what to write about, are all up to me and no one else, but what I should write about is what I need help with. What I am asking of you, the suite101 commmunity is what type of articles would you like to see more of. I know I have asked this question a thousand times, but received very few responses. A select few have stopped by on a regular basis. Greg from Humor and Dan from Christian Humor if your all wondering. Should I write more about technical information,Firefighting stories? Training scenarios? It is all up to you, the suite community. If I could get a little feedback, maybe I could get over this bout with writers block. So if anybody out there has any suggestions on my current dilemma, let me know........... It would help me sort out what people would like to read about and clear up all these thoughts bouncing around in my head on what to write about. I have a pretty wide background on firefighting, rescue, extrication, hazardous materials and rope rescue. So don't be afraid to ask some questions. My next article, which will be coming out in the next few days, may be on the subject of propane emergencies or a parody of, :"You might be a redneck firefighter if." I haven't decided yet. It could turn out to be something entirely different, because my mind changes all the time.
