SLFA's Community Service Repayment Assistance Program

The Community Service Repayment Assistance Program provides student loan repayment relief to borrowers who forgo lucrative salaries to pursue community service careers after completing their graduate or professional courses of study.

The program helps employees of public service agencies working in fields such as legal, health care, social and education services repay their student loans.

Through the program, SLFA will pay $200 per month toward a borrower's student loan debt for a maximum of 36 months. To maintain eligibility for this assistance, borrowers must continue to work for an agency participating in SLFA's Repayment Assistance Program

Public service agencies must first apply for participation in SLFA's Community Service Repayment Assistance Program before their employees may participate
