Catchy title, isn't it? How often do you search around the World Wide Web for Philippine sites, and end up disappointed with the search results? It's hard, even with non-Philippine sites, but that's another story. Let's focus on Philippine-related sites.

In the chaotic world of the Information Superhighway, a lot of people wonder: How can you effectively look for what you are searching for? Sometimes, it is not just a matter of typing in "Philippines" or "philippines". But maybe, we are looking in the wrong places. I found the majority of my favorite sites from mailing lists and online web forums. You see, that's where all the action comes from. Mailing lists (yahoogroups.com, yahooclubs, topica, etc.) and web forums (online bulletin boards such as Pinoyexchange.com). That's where a lot of human interaction takes place. Type in a question, and for sure, in 24 hours (or less), you'll receive the best answer. Another great way of getting information about the Philippines is going to askme.com and look for the Philippine questions board. And yet another way is allexperts.com.

So it is not a matter of what you are looking for, it is a matter of how you look for more information and WHERE you are looking for information from.
