The Piano Tuner - Page 2

Our fibromyalgia may be affected by weather changes like a piano, so we need to remember this, and take the time to reflect upon our abilities and goals rather than wallow in self-pity about the awful weather. A retreat away from the stress and demands of others is a tool that we can easily use. A weekend of solitude with our Higher Power can help us to find our own sound.

Each of us has creative abilities, and taking the time to allow our Higher Power to tune us, we can find out just what our creativity is for us individually. Having fibromyalgia can be viewed as either a gift or a curse, but if we begin to look deep within ourselves, we can find the joy of living in spite of having pain and fatigue and other symptoms. We all have good and bad days, but it is the turning of ourselves over to the Master Piano Tuner which can make us into beautiful instruments that help us to get through the bad days.
