Here is a very quick Valentine’s Hat for gift giving or wearing!
Materials:
Two strands mohair 2oz each
or worsted yarn 4oz
J crochet hook (or Hook to make the best use of materials)
Top:
Row 1: chain 6 and then join with slip stitch to form a ring.
Row 2: sc around ring
Row 3: 2 single crochet in each
Row 4: *1 sc then 2 sc in next stitch* repeat
ROw 5: *2 sc then 2 sc in next stitch* repeat
Row 6: *3 sc then 2 sc in next stitch* repeat
Row 7: *4 sc then 2 sc in next stitch* repeat
Row 8: *5 sc then 2 sc in next stitch* repeat
Row 9: *6 sc then 2 sc in next stitch* repeat
Row 10: *7 sc then 2 sc in next stitch* repeat
Row 11: *8 sc then 2 sc in next stitch* repeat
Side:
Row 12-20: *dc, chain 2, * repeat around each row.
Brim:
Row 21: Sc around
Row 22: Sc and increase in every fifth stitch
Row 23: sc around
Break off yarn and weave in the end.
