Big Project: Knitted Winter Coat


COLLAR:

To form collar pick up stitches along front in even manner up front edge, pick up stitches on back from stitch holder and come down the front to bottom. Using dark yarn knit in rib stitch for six inches. Bind off.

FINISHING:

Sew side seams from bottom and then down arm to bottom. Repeat on other side. Your coat is almost DONE!

For buttons: Crochet loops evenly down the front. The make balls on the opposite side.

Your coat is done!!!! Mine took a couple months of occasional knitting to make it in time for winter. A more dedicated effort would yield quicker results.
