Here is an easy pillow to make for Mother's Day giving. It uses the process of cut-work done in maximun fashion for quick results. Materials 15 inch square of dominant color (cut two) 15 inch square background color roll of 3 inch lace for pillow edging trims and ribbons Directions Take one square of dominant color and cut heart shape out of the center roughly 9 inches at widest point. Place square of background color behind it and stitch down with finshed seam. If your are hand stitching turn under the edge and sew like an applique. If you have machine sew down a satin stitch around the edge. Turn to wrong sides. Stitch sides of pillow together leaving opening for stuffing. Turn right side out. Stitch lace around edge of pillow. Tie bows and add to top of heart. Add other ribbons and trims if desired. Stuff pillow and stitch opening closed. Great! Now you have a lovely Mother's Day gift. Lili
