If your are hand stitching turn under the edge and sew like an applique. If you have machine sew down a satin stitch around the edge.

Stitch sides of pillow together leaving opening for stuffing.
Turn right side out.
Stitch lace around edge of pillow.
Tie bows and add to top of heart. Add other ribbons and trims if desired.
Stuff pillow and stitch opening closed.
Great! Now you have a lovely Mother's Day gift. Lili
