I got some notes from the dyers who read this site complaining that I had slighted them when I posted free fiber sites. I'm certainly sorry about this oversight. For the dyers out there many sites with free information exist.

Here are a few for you all.

• John Marshall's Japanese dye technique site is amazing. It includes complete instructions for katazome, and several patterns for authentic Japanese clothing.
• Dr. Paula Burch has a great site with many ideas for kids stuff
• Mannam Carpets has several cold vegetal dye recipes which are used for a original Oriental Mogul carpets.
• Dana McCowan has an original authentic indigo recipe.
• Yarn-it has several rainbow dyeing recipes contributed by readers.
• Glenna has a great crock pot dyeing article.
