"New Spring" by Robert Jordan concludes this anthology. This story takes place prior to Jordan's Wheel of Time series. A young Moiraine searches for the baby Dragon Reborn. Lan is a king without a country trying to avoid trouble. Together they stop a plot of the Black Ajah. Readers will learn how two characters from the series became who they are. Jordan's usual attention to detail permeates the story. He presents the story in a fast moving pace. Fans of the series will enjoy this short novel.
Legends is a remarkable anthology that returns readers to favorite Fantasy worlds. The various short novels add detail and understanding to their respective Fantasy series. It is a book worth checking out. Many hours of pleasurable reading can be found in this anthology.
