He has put his expertise of role playing and computer games to use by creating many Fantasy novels full of action, interesting characters and vivid plots. His books are entertaining for readers.
Once a Hero is an Epic Fantasy of a world inhabited by men and elves. These two foes have been enemies in the past. Both races are in danger of being enslaved by the Reithrese empire. Geneva is asked by Count Berengar for help on a quest. She wants to raise the legendary hero Neal Elfward from the dead to save their world. Their hope is that Neal will unite elves and men to defeat their oppressors. This is a powerful story of a vivid world that will intrigue readers and draw them in to a fantastic world. Chaos is held back by magical walls in A Hero Born. The main character, Locke, wants to become a Chaos Rider to get beyond the wall and search for his father. In the realm of Chaos, time and change are out of control, and Locke is only an apprentice swordsman. While searching for his father, he encounters a deadly evil that threatens humankind. Mr. Stackpole delivers a fast-paced story full of different magics and interesting characters. Talion: Revenant is the story of a man called a Talion Jusitice. He is part of an elite corp of justice servers who were created by an emperor to protect the people. The book follows him through his training and his current duties. It is a book full of originality created with a fully realized character and vivid descriptions. Readers will keep turning the pages of this suspenseful book. Mr. Stackpole came out with a prequel to his next trilogy with The Dark Glory War. This is a coming-of-age tale of four young men. At their celebration of maturity, an invasion force changes everything for them to one of survival. They must find a magical weapon to save the land of Oriosa. The story is told in a gritty, vivid detail of military exploits, dark magic and heroism achieved. It is a strong book that leads in to the next trilogy. Fortress Draconis begins the DragonCrown trilogy. Will is a thief in the city of Yslin. He hates the ruling tyrant, princess Chytrine. His theft of a silver leaf draws him into a hidden destiny of danger. He joins two companions, a human and a Vorquelf, to find out what he is expected to do. When Dragons Rage continues Will's story in the exciting second installment of the trilogy. Will teams up with other people to find the fragments of the DragonCrown in order to rebel against the empress. Having to make deals with dragons comes with a price in this fascinating book. Finally, it comes to a rousing conclusion with The Grand Crusade. The leftover rebels from the previous book must try to prevent Chytrine from assembling the DragonCrown and bringing back an evil race banished from the world.
