Week Four Fantasy Football Rankings

QB Sleeper Pick

Jay Fiedler makes another appearance as my sleeper QB play of the week and why not. He merely faces a Chiefs defense who is giving up a staggering 370 passing yards per game and has allowed 10 TD passes, tops in the NFL. The Chiefs offense is good enough to force Miami to have to keep up so Fiedler will have to throw often.

Running Backs

1. Priest Holmes – Right now, Holmes is out-doing Marshall Faulk at his own game and is the best RB in the NFL through week three. Holmes was able to shred the Pats last week and is quite capable of doing the same to Miami.

2. Ricky Williams – Expect a lot of offense, again, when the Dophins face the Chiefs. Everyone should benefit: QBs, RBs, WRs, kickers, etc…

3. Deuce McAllister – See Aaron Brooks above. The Lions cannot stop anybody.

4. Anthony Thomas – The A-Train carried the ball 27 times last week for 111 yards. The Bears again find themselves facing a team who they don’t want to have to trade scores with. Expect Thomas to see the ball often again.

5. Fred Taylor – So far, so good. After two games Fred is still healthy. He should remain so this week as the Jets have the NFL’s 2nd worst rush defense and have given up a league high 6 rushing TDs.

6. Marshall Faulk – Faulk has been cleared to play and if he’s 100%, he’ll have a huge game against the horrible Cowboys.

7. Shaun Alexander – Thus far he’s been more dud than stud. But come on…this is the Vikings he’s going against. The same Vikings who allowed 154 yards and 2 TDs to Lamar Smith last week. Time for him to step up.

Sleeper Running Back Pick

Mike Alstott just keeps hanging around Tampa no matter which other RBs show up. The Bengals are the worst team in the NFL and the Bucs will have their way and push them around the field. Alstott could garner a couple of TD runs.

Wide Receivers

1. Jimmy Smith – Smith will eat up the Jets secondary. 150 yards and 1 to 2 scores may not be out of the question.

2. Joe Horn – Do we have to go over this again? Play your Saints offensive players this week and watch them feast on the Lions defense.

3. Tim Brown – Expect both Brown and Rice to have their way with the weak Titan’s DBs. Seems like Gannon alternates who will be his
