Week Four Fantasy Football Rankings

Hi. First a couple of quick apologies. I’m getting the weekly rakings up a day or two late and I’m restricting them to just 5 or 6 players per position. Work has unfortunately kept me hopping this week.

I’ve really had to debate on what to do with Randy Moss this week. With all the troubles he had this last week, my gut says to keep him out of the top rankings until he can prove himself. On the other hand, he just may prove himself with a monster game.

Injuries are once again claiming RBs at an alarming pace. As of now, it looks like both Marshall Faulk and Ahman Green will start this week. Curtis Martin still does not look 100% as he goes up against the Jaguars. Now on to the rankings!

Quarterbacks

1. Donovan McNabb – Is this a recipe for disaster? The NFC’s hottest QB against the Houston Texans. The Texans actually have not been to bad against the pass, but it’s a bit misleading as they played teams (Dallas and San Diego) in their first two games who concentrated on running the ball. Should be another huge day for McNabb.

2. Aaron Brooks – Brooks goes up against a weak Lion’s defense who will be without at least 4 starters, including last year’s prize rookie DL, Shaun Rogers. This should be a high-scoring affair and both teams will score in the high 20’s or 30’s.

3. Rich Gannon – After a week off, the Raiders return to the field in Oakland against the Titans. The Titans are surrendering a massive 240 passing yards a game and have given up 8 TD passes, 2nd worst in the entire NFL.

4. Kurt Warner – He can’t be as terrible as he’s looked the first three weeks, can he? The Rams are back home in the dome against the Cowboys who were belted by the Eagles last week. Warner finally has a big game!

5. Brett Favre – The Panthers finally get a real test as they go to Green Bay to face the Packers. Green Bay gets Ahman Green back and Donald Driver has taken ahold of the #2 WR spot. Bubba Franks finally woke up last week as well. The Panthers crash back to earth and Favre has another big day.

6. Tom Brady – As with Carolina, the Chargers get their first real test facing the Super Bowl champions. The Chargers have the leagues top pass defense but have played no one. Things change fast this week.
