Philadelphia – The Eagles finally realized their WRs stink and went out and signed veteran Antonio Freeman. Freeman is not what he once was but neither is Jerry Rice. I would not be surprised to see him as the go-to guy by the middle of the season.
Tampa Bay – Jon Gruden found out in just a few weeks what the Bills took four years to discover----Rob Johnson sucks. Brad Johnson will be the starter and Shaun King will again be his back-up. That said, Johnson is a stretch even as a back-up.
Washington – It’s looking more and more like Danny Wuerffel will be Steve Spurrier’s starting QB over Shane Matthews. However, there is also the possibility that both may see time. The Redskin QBs present an interesting prospect for fantasy owners. Neither is great, yet the starter could put up huge numbers in Spurrier’s pass-happy offense. Keep a close eye on this situation.
