Burning Questions from around the NFLPittsburgh – Antwaan Randle El will get the start in the opener at WR while Hines Ward recovers from an appendectomy. Randle El is a decent late round pick. His explosiveness makes him a good candidate to get a reasonable amount of scores, even if Ward catches more passes. NFC Teams Atlanta – The latest news from Atlanta is that free agent WR Willie Jackson is behind Shawn Jefferson and Brian Finneran on the depth chart. In any case, no Falcons WR is worth drafting high, if at all. Finneran might be worth a late round pick, but remember you have an inexperienced QB who is more inclined to run than pass the ball. Carolina – Steve Smith has won the job at the No.2 WR spot opposite Mushin Muhammad. Smith could be a real sleeper due to his fantastic kick return ability. Keep an eye on him. At this point, Donal Driver looks like he’ll be the No. 2 WR with rookie Javon Walker getting time as well. Take Glenn with caution. Driver is interesting because he plays with Brett Favre. Keep an eye on him as the season starts and pick him up if he starts out fast. Minnesota – D’ Wayne Bates and Derrick Alexander are battling it out for the No.2 WR spot opposite Randy Moss…a much coveted position for fantasy owners. Bates has the advantage due to a great
