Opening Night Notables

The season's only a few days old but there have already been some surprises for the fantasy player. Here's a quick run down of the highs and lows of the first night in the 2000/2001 NBA sseason:

Baron Davis 36 MP 20 points 6 boards 3 asst 2 steals
Played along side David Wesley. Baron looks like he'll finally get the chance to play up o that #3 overall pick.
Matt Harpring 37 MP 16 points 3 boards 3 asst
A sleeper if he gets these minutes all year long.
Evan Eschemeyer 27 MP 1 point 11 boards 2 blocks
The latest Net all rebound machine (See Jamie Feick/Jayson Williams)
Aaron Williams 24 MP 20 points 9 boards
Van Horne isn't back till December. 20/10 looks good to me but don't expect it every night.
Glenn Robinson 43 MP 11 points 9 boards 3 blocks 2 steals
Big Dog playing D?????
Michael Finley 42 MP 26 points 9 boards 8 asst. 2 steals
Best player you haven't heard of. Fantasy stud.
Jerry Stackhouse 42 MP 44 points 5 boards 3 asst.
Chucky Atkins 37 MP 21 points 5 boards 7 asst.
These 2 took 60 of the 93 shots the Pistons took tonight. Get them, and forget the rest of the team.
Jason Kidd 45 MP 24 points 10 boards 11 assists 5 steals
We always post triple doubles. Expect to see a lot of the Kidd.
Danny Fortson 31 MP 18 points 18 boards
Big time rebounder. Lots of misses available as long as Larry Hughes is doing his Iverson imitation.
Radoslav Nesterovic 35 MP 16 points 13 boards
So much for Joe Smith?
Cuttino Mobley 32 MP 33 points 5 boards 1 asst. 3 steals
The guy to watch in Houston's backcourt other than Francis.
Tracy McGrady 46 MP 32 points 12 rebounds 4 asst. 3 blocks
Well, soft Grant won't have to worry about being the MAN in O-Town. Cause he's not.
Allen Iverson 38 MP 5/16 FG 25 points 6 boards 9 assists
Good to know the Rap lyric controversey hasen't affected Allen shooting eye.
Jermaine O'Neil 31 MP 16 points 10 boards 2 asst.
Just the beginning. David Robinson 31 MP 22 points 9 boards 3 blocks
Nice start for the Admiral.
Predrag Stojakovic 39 MP 23 points 8 boards 2 asst. 3 steals
Gets minutes with departure of Williamson. May be #2 option for Kings making him a solid pickup.
