Here's a smorgasbord of lesser lights that are performing at a high level over the past week. You'll be as stunned as me when you see how many Golden St. Warriors are featured here.
Donyell Marshall - Averaging 13.8 rebounds and has 7 steals in his last 4 games. Ervin Johnson -- of the Milwaukee Bucks - averaging 11.0 boards 1.8 blocks in his last 4 games Erick Dampier - The finally healthy Dampier is averaging 10.2 boards in his last 4 games Keon Clark - Denver's backup center has averaged 9.2 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in his last 4. Billy Owens - Golden St. throw in Owens has averaged 7.5 rebounds in his last 4 games. God knows why. Rodney Rogers - His 28 point performance on Sunday was just a bit overshadowed by old what-his-name but you can't argue with 14 steals in his last 5 games and another 13 3 ptrs. Vonteego Cummings - Golden St. again 10 steals in his last 4 games. Maybe Latrell was on to something. Theo Ratliff - Another player who's early season injuries seem to be behind him Averaging 3 blocks last 3 games Greg Ostertag - Still not Karl Malone's favorite but did average 3 blocks in last 3 games Jalen Rose - Has ascended to #2 on the list of best NBA talents among the Fab 5 by putting up 25.5 points in his last 4 games Lamond Murray - picking up the offensive load for the Cadavliers to the tune of 23.3 points last 3 games. Larry Hughes - last Warrior I promise. 20.7 points per game last 3. They said he be a 20 point a game guy with minutes. Here's the proof.
