It would seem that Margaret Ogden, or is it Megan Lindholm, or is it Robin Hobb, has an identity crisis. This outstanding author has finally found a name that sells her books. The Farseer Trilogy is well worth reading, and I don't think the author's name choice had anything to do with the readability. The series is marvelously well constructed. A complex world, a wonderfully charismatic hero, realistic supporting characters, and a beautiful story all blend to make this a must read series for fantasy lovers.
The Liveship Traders series promises to be just as entertaining. The books are set in the same world as the Farseer Trilogy, only we are introduced to an entirely different culture and a brand new set of characters (text excerpt). The best online source of information I could track down was this Harper Collins interview. There's not much there, but I'm sure we'll be seeing more of this author no matter which name she writes with her pen.
