Spas at the Magic Kingdom

May 15, 2002 - © Lain Ehmann

Spa sessions at the hotels and aboard the cruises book fast, so make sure to make your reservations as far in advance as possible (for the cruise, this usually means the second you board).

These therapies are often quite a bit more expensive than the usual spa you might visit at home -- expect to spend between 40 and 50 percent more, plus gratuity. My massages were $100-plus, so they were definitely in the "treat" range. But who deserves an hour of relaxation more than a hard-working -- and hard-walking -- mom?
