Does your preschooler love Blue's Clues? Mine does and she also loves Blue's 123 Time Activities ($19.99) . This is a wonderful way to continue her learning of numbers, addition and subtraction and pattern recognition just like they teach on the television program!

Steve and Blue are having a Backyard Fair and want your child to help Blue earn Blue Dollars by playing games at the Fair. Sign your preschooler in first and let them change the color of the letters in their name before beginning the fun.

There are seven activities to choose from. All games are designed to enhance your child's early math and thinking skills. Important skills such as counting, sorting, matching, weights, measures and more are learned.

Six activities automatically become more difficult as your child plays and learns certain concepts. Here is a breakdown of some activities and what your child should learn:

The goal in Shovel & Pail's Mother May I? game is to help Blue reach the number 10 on the number line before her friend does. This game introduces simple addition operations and counting to your child.

In Tink's Train Ride game, the child must help Tink gather supplies to build the greatest train ride. The skills learned are counting, addition and subtraction and shape recognition.

For Baby Bear's Card game your child will identify colors, recognize shapes, match objects and more! To win, your child must get rid of all his/her cards first.

Mr. Salt & Mrs. Pepper's Snack Stand asks your child to help them sort snacks that correspond with signs on the shelves.

In The Felt Friend's Pattern Parade, preschooler's will finish making floats for the Fair. This is a great game that teaches how to recognize patterns and order.

Weighing and comparing objects are some concepts earned at Bell's Souvenir Stand. Your preschooler must weigh souvenirs and give one of Blue's friends either the heaviest or lightest.

Once your child has earned enough Blue Dollars he/she may buy prizes at the Prize Tent. This teaches the concept of earning and spending money.
